Koji Morimoto

Koji Morimoto grew up in a Japanese village, in the classic Japanese lifestyle. Now, with more than 20 years of experience creating Japanese gardens, he owns a landscaping business, Japanese Landscaping, where he has designed gardens from New York City to Kansas City, Missouri. Koji said, “Japanese people live with nature, deeply connecting to it. In the Japanese culture, trees and flowers blooming, and seasons changing are central to daily life.” Japanese gardens are a peaceful and relaxing experience; they are about strolling through one area, then turning a corner to discover something new. Koji explains that each garden has a theme and Kay’s garden is about two pathways traveling the length of the garden and converging at the Crane Gateway.
